Floating during all trimesters of pregnancy is enjoyable. Immediate relief of achy joints and muscles as well as stress relief are felt upon entering the tank. Research has shown that a mothers stress level effects her baby’s development in infancy and years beyond. There is no better time to try floating than during your pregnancy.
There are ample anecdotal evidence from women who claim they have a stronger bond from floating during pregnancy. One reason that might be is the “Mirror Effect”; that is the woman is floating in the darkened tank while the unborn baby is floating safely in her womb.
